First of all, it’s a bit too far from the city center for my liking, around a 15-20 minute drive. Though the road was quite unpaved, breakfast was a letdown—eggs and arepas get old after two weeks in Colombia!

Casa De Campo is just not what I expected. The pool's bathrrom was dirty, and I had to endure a broken shower faucet in my room. Since I received no special treatment, I almost considered giving it a good review, but really? After all my troubles, I expected a complimentary upgrade. What a letdown.

The pool was fantastic for my kids, who absolutely loved splashing around. They also enjoyed the sauna right by the pool. it was a great feature. We had an easy check-in experience, and being greeted with a bottle of wine was a lovely touch after our long travels with my husband.

My wife says that the room could really use a better view for the kids' enjoyment.

Just a solid selection for a weekend pause in Villa de Leyva with good value for money. The bathroom had some issues, but the shower water was surprisingly hot, which made it enjoyable after a long day. Make sure to order delivery if you want to eat late at night.
